教师介绍:
As an English teacher hailing from the United States, I strongly believe in the concept that if you want something better for your life, you can get it; as long as you work hard and believe in yourself. Guided by this philosophy, I have been able to achieve great success in my life academically, professionally and personally. As a teacher, I believe that it is my job to create a productive environment that engages students through fun and exciting learning activities. Furthermore, I believe that a good teacher must work just as hard to teach, as a student must work to learn. With this in mind, I work diligently to make sure that I provide my students with a one of a kind learning experience that includes a large variety of subject matter, hi-tech resources and creative learning techniques.
As for myself, I am a fun and outgoing person who loves to make new friends while living in China. Originally, I am from the city of San Francisco in the state of California. However, over the past few years, I have lived mostly in and out of China. Most recently I lived in Shenzhen, in Guangdong province. Currently, I am enrolled at East China Normal University here in Shanghai to study the chinese language. I hope to live in China for many more years because I love living here and I believe China will have a bright and prosperous future.

maxgmenke回复:Usually in my class, I try to lead a discussion about interesting social issues while helping English learners improve their oral English skills. My classes are designed to be open and fun. I try to make sure that everyone gets a chance to speak, and if the class wants to talk about something outside our topic then we'll talk about that. Most importantly, I like to talk about cultural differences in my classes. Hope to see you there sometime!
